Plot: Paul cooks a meal for his parents, siblings and Stella, consisting of undercooked spaghetti and incredibly cold sauce. At first, the family try to let Paul know that his cooking skills were alright. After taking a bite of his pudding, Wilbur throws up and passes out. After returning from the hospital, Grayson and Nina inform that Paul's cooking caused Wilbur's stomach to swell up, and was going to be on "special brown medicine" until his stomach swells back down. Emmy makes a sly comment, stating the the poison doesn't fall far in Paul's case.

A few days later, a still depressed Paul decides to look into taking cooking lessons from a professional chef. With the help from Roman and Sebastian, he finds a retired culinary chef who lives in Zelen with her three dogs and parrot. After startling Chef Ruby Sparks, Paul apologises and begs her to teach him how to cook, telling her that he managed to poison his toddler brother with one slice of cherry pie. Amused by this, Sparks agrees to teach him.

After several lessons, Chef Sparks dies of natural causes, which brings Paul back into his depressive mood. Stella decides to speak to the youth, explaining that Paul was good at a lot of things, but cooking wasn't one of them. To prove her point, Stella states that she can't urinate in the garden. She then goes ahead and pees in the garden, which makes her hiss, shouting curses to herself. After calming down, Stella helps Paul see her point by saying that people can do a lot of things, but there is always one thing that they can't do without hurting themselves or others.
